The giant panda is the bear that went almost entirely vegetarian: it spends most of its waking hours chewing bamboo, which is why nearly every panda picture comes with a forest attached. These panda coloring pages take that pair – black-and-white bear, green bamboo – through a whole range of drawing styles: realistic giant pandas, kawaii baby pandas, a panda mandala, zentangle fur, stained glass, origami, and a few quiet scenes of pandas reading, napping and riding bicycles. Simple pages for kids sit next to detailed pages for adults.
Click any picture and its PDF opens in a new tab, sized for US Letter and fitting A4 without adjustment; the Download All button gathers the whole set into one PDF book. One tip before you start: a panda is already black and white, so the color lives in the forest, the sky and the flowers. Choose those first and the bear will look right whatever you do.

Fun Things to Make with These Coloring Pages
- Bamboo frame – glue four lengths of craft bamboo, or wooden skewers wrapped in green tape, around a finished page to make a frame, then hang it from a loop of twine.
- Black-and-white challenge – a panda is already two colors, so color the whole scene using only black, white and shades of gray, then add a single color to the background and see how far it carries.
- Panda bookmark – cut a strip about two inches wide from a colored page, seal it with clear tape on both sides, punch a hole at the top and tie on a tassel of green yarn.
- Tea-stained paper – brush cold black tea over a printed page before coloring. Once it dries the paper looks aged, and pencil colors on it come out softer and warmer.
- Watercolor over line art – print on heavier paper, color lightly with watercolor and let the black lines hold the picture together. Thick outlines forgive wobbly brushwork.
- Panda puzzle – glue a colored page to thin cardboard, cut it into eight or ten irregular pieces and store them in an envelope decorated with bamboo leaves.
- Greeting card – fold a sheet of cardstock in half, trim a colored panda to fit the front and write inside. Panda pictures suit birthdays, get-well wishes and thank-you notes equally well.
- Pattern practice – take one page and fill every plain white area with a repeated pattern – dots, scales, stripes – before adding any color. A good project for a slow evening.
