Few birds are built for a coloring page the way a flamingo is: one long S-curve of neck, a bill that bends the wrong way, legs like drafting pencils, and a body that is mostly a single wash of pink. These flamingo coloring pages take that silhouette through a whole gallery of styles – art deco and art nouveau, a mandala, stained glass, folk art, paper cut, woodcut, low poly, origami, kawaii, a 1930s rubber-hose cartoon, an isometric garden, and a few lagoon and beach scenes drawn straight. Every bird is an original Papaya Ink drawing.
Click any picture and the PDF opens in a new tab, sized for US Letter and fitting A4; the button above the grid downloads the whole set as one book. A note on color: a flamingo's pink comes from pigments in the algae and shrimp it eats, so anything from pale blush to deep coral is correct, and the flight feathers are tipped black. The cartoon pages suit kids; the pattern pages are the ones to settle in with.

Fun Things to Make with These Coloring Pages
- Pink test strip – before you start, lay every pink, coral, peach and salmon you own side by side on a scrap of the same paper, label each one, and choose three for the bird. It saves the page from a muddy mix.
- Watercolor over line art – the pattern-style pages take a wet wash well. Flood each shape with a light tint first, let it dry fully, then add pencil shading on top. Office paper buckles, so tape the edges down.
- Flock on the wall – color several pages in the same limited palette, mat them in matching frames and hang them in a stepped row, as if the birds were walking across the room.
- Party place cards – color one of the simpler pages, cut around the bird, fold a strip of card in half and glue the flamingo so its head rises above the fold. Write the guest's name underneath.
- Yard flamingo – glue a finished page to a cereal box, cut around the outline, tape a bamboo skewer to the back and plant it in a flowerpot or window box. It survives a season under a coat of clear tape.
- Tissue-paper glass – cut colored tissue to fit the shapes of a pattern page, glue the pieces over the shapes from the back, trim, and tape the sheet in a window. Daylight does the rest.
- Wrong-color challenge – color a page in a realistic palette, then the same page again in colors a flamingo never has: teal, violet, lime. Put both side by side and decide which one you like better.
- Pool-party invitation – fold a page into quarters so the bird lands on the front panel, color it, and write the date, time and address inside. Print on heavier paper if the printer allows it.
