Scarecrows are the friendliest faces of fall. Button eyes, a straw-stuffed smile, a patched hat with a sunflower tucked in the band – and suddenly the whole page feels like a crisp October afternoon. These scarecrow coloring pages take that classic pumpkin-patch character and send him everywhere the season goes: harvest fields and barn workshops, fall fairs and moonlit parades, cozy porches, rainy afternoons and quiet corners of the farm, always with a bird or a furry friend somewhere nearby. They are drawn for relaxed adult coloring first – lots of plaid, patches, straw and autumn leaves to work through with markers or colored pencils – but kids and families will find plenty of happy pumpkins and animal friends to enjoy too.
The collection comes in two styles, and the Show me buttons above the gallery let you switch between them. Black & White pages are classic full-sheet line art: clean outlines, plenty of open space and no color hints, so the fall palette is entirely yours – ideal for an ordinary black and white printer. Pages With Color Sample are copy coloring pages: the top half is a fully colored version of the scene, the bottom half is the same scene as line art with a dotted line between them. Match the colors exactly, use the top as a loose guide, or fold along the dotted line and keep the colored half as a reference card. Printed in black and white, the colored half comes out as gray shading, so those sheets look best from a color printer.
Everything is free to print at home. Click the picture – PDF opens, US Letter, fits A4. Print as many copies as you like for your own use, a classroom fall unit, a harvest party table or a quiet evening with a cup of cider.

Fun Things to Make with These Coloring Pages
- Print the colored half only and cut it out as a fall greeting card front – glue it onto folded cardstock and write a harvest message inside.
- Color the line-art half in your own palette, then hang the colored half and your version side by side as a "before and after" on the fridge or classroom wall.
- Cut along the dotted line, mount the line-art half on brown kraft paper and frame it as a rustic fall print for a porch or entryway.
- Turn a finished sheet into a Thanksgiving placemat – laminate it or slip it into a clear sleeve so it survives gravy and cranberry sauce.
- Glue real dried leaves, bits of raffia and a scrap of plaid fabric onto the scarecrow's hat and clothes for a textured mixed-media collage.
- Trace the scarecrow outline onto a paper lunch bag, color it, stuff the bag with crumpled newspaper and tie the top with twine for a mini table scarecrow.
- Punch a hole in the corner of a small colored scarecrow, add jute string and use it as a gift tag on pumpkin bread, cider bottles or Halloween treat bags.
- Host a scarecrow coloring contest at a fall party – hand out the same sheet to everyone and let guests vote on the most creative color scheme.
