Dinosaurs do not have to be scary. These cute dinosaur coloring pages show the gentle side of the prehistoric world: round-eyed baby dinosaurs and kind old giants sharing food, making music, helping each other and looking after the smaller creatures around them. They are cozy, story-like scenes, the kind you can get lost in for a quiet evening with colored pencils, and they work just as well for kids who love dinos as for adults who simply want to relax.
The collection comes in two formats. Black and white pages are classic full-size outlines with bold, clean lines, friendly to markers, crayons and pencils alike. Pages with a color sample are copy coloring pages: the top half shows the finished scene in full color, the bottom half is the same drawing in outline, and a dashed line between them lets you cut the example off and keep it beside you. Use the Show me buttons above the pictures to see everything at once, only the black and white cute dinosaur coloring sheets, or only the ones with a color sample. Your choice is remembered as you browse.
To print, click the picture – the PDF opens in your browser. Each sheet is sized for US Letter and fits A4 just as well, with white margins built in. On a black-and-white printer the outline pages print crisp, and a color sample simply prints in gray. All cute dinosaur coloring pages here are free printable PDFs for home and classroom use.

Fun Things to Make with These Coloring Pages
- Cut along the dashed line and keep the color example as a postcard or bookmark, then color the outline half your own way.
- Try an impossible palette. Nobody knows what color dinosaurs really were, so pink, teal or rainbow stripes are all fair.
- Glue a finished page onto cardstock, fold it and turn it into a handmade dinosaur birthday card.
- Print the same sheet twice and color it with a child or a friend, then compare how different the results look.
- Use a cotton swab and a little chalk pastel to add soft skies, water and glowing light behind the dinosaurs.
- Cut out the colored dinosaurs, tape them to craft sticks and put on a small puppet show.
- Frame a favorite finished page for a kids room, a classroom reading corner or a nursery wall.
- Staple several finished pages together, write a sentence under each picture and make your own dinosaur storybook.
