Big expressive eyes, flowing hair and outfits full of ruffles and bows – anime girl coloring pages are some of the most satisfying line art to color, whether you grew up on manga or simply like a pretty picture. Every sheet in this collection is an original Papaya Ink drawing in a soft, shoujo-inspired style. No characters are borrowed from any show; these are our own girls in cozy rooms, gardens, changing seasons and a few fantasy corners, usually with a pet close by.
The pages come in two kinds. Classic black and white sheets are full-page line art, ready for your own palette. Color sample sheets show the finished picture in color on the top half and the same drawing as line art below, so you can copy the scheme shade for shade or use it as a starting point and go your own way. The Show me buttons above the pictures let you see only one kind. One honest note: on a black and white printer the color sample comes out gray, so those sheets are best on a color printer or viewed on a screen while you work.
Hair is where anime girl coloring sheets really shine: take a few shades of one color from root to tip, leave a band of white paper for the highlight, and the classic anime look appears almost on its own. For the eyes, keep the small white reflections untouched and darken the top of the iris. Adults and teens who enjoy kawaii and manga art will get the most out of the finer sheets, and the simpler ones work for younger fans as well.
To print, click the picture – the PDF opens, sized for US Letter, and it fits A4 just as well. All of these printable anime girl pages are free for personal use, classrooms, libraries and coloring clubs.

Fun Things to Make with These Coloring Pages
- Manga bookmarks – cut a finished figure out as a tall strip, glue it to cardstock, cover it with clear tape, punch a hole at the top and tie on a ribbon.
- Framed wall art – color a sheet in a limited palette that matches your room, trim the white margin and slip it into a Letter or A4 frame.
- Journal and planner covers – glue a colored page to the front of a plain notebook and seal it with clear contact paper.
- Sticker sheets – print at a reduced size on sticker paper, color, then cut around the character and any little animals in the scene.
- Greeting cards – fold a piece of cardstock in half and mount a trimmed character on the front for the anime fan in your life.
- Palette studies – print the same page again and color one copy in pastels and the other in bold saturated tones to see how the mood changes.
- Desk standees – glue a colored figure to thin cardboard, cut it out and add a folded cardboard foot so it stands next to your monitor.
- Coloring club night – print a copy for everyone, agree on a single rule such as one color family only, and compare the results at the end.
