Tyrannosaurus rex is the one dinosaur everybody can name, and this collection gives the king of the Cretaceous the coloring treatment he deserves. The T-Rex coloring pages here come in two formats. Classic black-and-white sheets are full-page line art – realistic, finely drawn scenes with scaly skin, ferns, rocks and deep prehistoric landscapes, made for colored pencils, fine-liners and a long quiet evening. Copy-coloring sheets put a full-color reference picture on the top half and the same scene as a clean outline below, so you can study the palette first or ignore it completely and paint your T-Rex purple.
Use the Show me buttons above the gallery to see everything at once, only the black-and-white pages, or only the pages with a color sample. The scenes range from fierce to friendly: storms, canyons and volcanic valleys for anyone who wants drama, calm forest and waterside moments for relaxed shading, and softer cartoon sheets with baby dinosaurs and T-Rex families for kids and beginners. Whether you are printing dinosaur coloring pages for your own creative break, a dino-themed birthday party or a rainy afternoon, there is a sheet here at the right level.
Click the picture – the PDF opens, sized for US Letter and it fits A4 too. Black-and-white pages print crisp on any home printer. On the copy-coloring sheets the color reference prints best in color; on a black-and-white printer it comes out as a gray photo, so the outline half is where the fun is. Regular office paper works fine for crayons and colored pencils; go for heavier cardstock if you plan to use markers or paint.

Fun Things to Make with These Coloring Pages
- Cut along the dashed line and mount the colored outline next to the reference in a two-frame "before and after" display.
- Fold the sheet in half along the dashed line for an instant dinosaur greeting card with a color picture on the front.
- Color the outline in a totally different palette than the reference – a blue T-Rex, a pink sky – and compare the two halves.
- Glue a finished outline onto cardboard, cut around the T-Rex and add a paper stand for a tabletop dinosaur figure.
- Print several sheets and let kids color the bottom halves for a dino-birthday table activity; the top halves become place cards.
- Use the colored reference as a guide for texture practice: dots, scales and cross-hatching on the outline with fine-line pens.
- Cut the outline half into large puzzle pieces after coloring for a homemade dinosaur jigsaw.
- Laminate a colored sheet and use it as a placemat or a bookmark strip cut from the reference half.
