Love, on these pages, is a quiet thing. Nobody is kissing in the rain. Couples walk hand in hand past a flower stall, knead bread at the same counter or sit on a dock with a basket of fruit between them; princesses and princes bake, picnic and plant trees in palace gardens; cats, foxes, bears and sea otters lean into each other and close their eyes. Some sheets carry the word Love in big hand-lettered script, most just let the two figures say it. Every person and animal here is a Papaya Ink original, drawn for this collection, so there is nobody you have to color the way a studio decided.
Click any sheet to open it as a PDF in a new tab, then print it or save it. The pages are sized for US Letter and fit A4 without cropping, and the lines are thick enough for a basic home printer and a cheap pack of markers. Printed on heavier paper they also take watercolor without buckling much.
Pages like these reward restraint. Give the two figures the warmest colors on the sheet and keep the background a step cooler, so the pair reads first; let the hearts and the lettering stay pale, or fill them with a single flat color. For a card, color one sheet, trim it to the drawing and fold a piece of heavy paper around it. An anniversary, a wedding, a Valentine or an ordinary Tuesday all qualify.

Fun Things to Make with These Coloring Pages
- Folded card – color a sheet, trim close to the drawing, glue it to the front of a folded piece of heavy cardstock and write inside. Works for Valentine's Day, an anniversary or an apology.
- Two-person page – sit across the table from each other and color the same sheet, one figure each, without agreeing on colors first. The result is usually better than either of you planned.
- Framed pair – color two sheets in the same palette, mat them side by side in one wide frame and hang them over the bed or the kitchen table.
- Wedding table sheets – print a stack, set a cup of pencils on every table and let guests color while they wait for dinner. Collect them afterward for the album.
- Envelope liner – color a sheet in soft tones, cut it to the shape of an open envelope flap and glue it inside. The drawing shows the moment the envelope opens.
- Watercolor wash – lay a light wash of one color over the whole sheet first, let it dry, then color the pair in pencils on top. The wash ties the background together.
- Gift tag – print the sheet at a quarter of the size, color the figures only, cut around the drawing and punch a hole for the ribbon.
- Lettering practice – the sheets with the word Love are good for trying brush pens: fill the script letters with a gradient, then outline them in a darker shade.
